Warm Hearts & Soles

by Colby Corlew

On Wednesday, October 21, United Way of Bay County partnered with The Margaret Jane Stoker Charitable Trust from Huntington Bank and Laborers Local 1098 to bring warmth and smiles to students across Bay County through the Warm Hearts & Soles Program!

Through this community partnership, 520 Pre-K and elementary school students received essential winter items, including coats, boots, hats, gloves, mittens, and special treat bags to help them prepare for the colder months ahead.

As temperatures drop, having the proper winter clothing can make a meaningful difference in a child’s comfort, confidence, and ability to enjoy the season. The Warm Hearts & Soles Program helps ensure local students have the essentials they need to stay warm while heading to school, playing outside, and spending time with friends.

This effort would not be possible without the generosity and dedication of our incredible partners. We are grateful to The Margaret Jane Stoker Charitable Trust from Huntington Bank, Laborers Local 1098, and other sponsors for helping make this program a success and for investing in the well-being of children in our community.

Together, we are making a difference!
