Donor Privacy and Confidentiality
United Way of Bay County (UWBC) respects the privacy of donors and safeguards the confidentiality of any personally identifiable information (PII) or other privileged information about a donor’s assets, philanthropic interests, or other information reasonably considered to be private. UWBC does not sell, distribute, rent, exchange, or otherwise disseminate donor information to any third party or other organization for the purpose of generating revenue or in exchange for information.
Security of Donor Information
All donor information is maintained in a secure database. Any donor information submitted in paper form is securely stored with access only granted to those employees who require the information to perform their job responsibilities. UWBC database and online giving systems meet Payment Card Industry (PCI) Standards and are regularly scanned to ensure compliance.
Use of Cookies
This website may use “cookies” to help make sure the Site is meeting the needs of its users and to help us make improvements. Donor Recognition and Anonymity
Donors may be acknowledged and published in various materials. Donors who wish to remain anonymous will be honored, and that can be indicated either on their pledge form or by contacting United Way of Bay County.
