Leadership Giving
The leadership giving in Bay County is tremendous. In fact, United Way of Bay County ranks in the 95th percentile of Metro IV United Ways regarding leadership giving.
Pillars Club consists of individuals and families that make a high level
contribution to United Way of Bay County. The Pillars Club is a
component of leadership giving. The members of Pillars Club are
as diverse as the community they represent. Members represent
social services, labor, management, retirees, government,
education and others. These members contribute a minimum of
$1,000. That contribution may be made individually or combined with another significant donation to total $1,000 or more. We attract high-level donors because we make great efforts to involve a broad base of the community in all our United Way
activities. Pillars Club members are recognized by name and business in a booklet published once a year, as well as in the Bay City Times. Each new member receives a token of our appreciation in the form of a desktop award and all members receive a Pillars News, a quarterly newsletter to keep them up-to-date on current happenings at United Way.
