What's Happening at the United Way of Bay County... Bay Arenac Call Center: “National Night Out” Drug & Crime Prevention EventJoin your friends, neighbors, and United Way’s Bay Arenac Call Center at Birney Park on August 5th between 5 to 10 p.m. for the “National Night Out” Drug & Crime Prevention Event, being sponsored locally by the Bay City Police Department. United Way will be giving out free flashlights and bubbles to all kids who stop by our booth. American Dream Initiative: Retired and Senior Volunteer Program September 27, United Way's RSVP will be hosting a fundraising Murder Mystery Train Ride. Cost is $98 per person and includes transportation, admission and lunch aboard the train. This a great chance for volunteers to sit back relax and socialize while enjoying a concert by Phil Dirt and the Dozers. To register for this picnic call 893.6060 ext. 18 Volunteer Resource Center: Kick off campaign with Day of Caring Volunteer Event: VOLUNTEERS NEEDED. Live United is the theme for this year's United Way annual fall campaign and to kick off our campaign we are asking volunteers to show us how they live united by volunteering their time on September 13. The projects on this day range from painting playground equipment, gardening, weatherizing playground equipment to building ramps for the disabled.
