What's Happening at the United Way of Bay County...

Bay Arenac Call Center:

   “National Night Out” Drug & Crime Prevention Event

Join your friends, neighbors, and United Way’s Bay Arenac Call Center at Birney Park on August 5^th between 5 to 10 p.m. for the “National Night Out” Drug & Crime Prevention Event, being sponsored locally by the Bay City Police Department.  United Way will be giving out free flashlights and bubbles to all kids who stop by our booth.

American Dream Initiative:
The American Dream Initiative will also send out a newsletter in July. If you would like to receive the e-newsletter please contact mindy@unitedwaybaycounty.org to be added to the list.

Murder, Mystery and Mayhem

September 27, United Way's RSVP will be hosting a fundraising Murder Mystery Train Ride.  Cost is $98 per person and includes transportation, admission and lunch aboard the train. Wine Tasting Trip to Traverse City

October 15, enjoy a beautiful, scenic fall color tour through Traverse City while doing some wine tasting.  The cost per individual will be $95 includes transportation, wine tasting at three wineries and dinner at Boones Long Lake Inn. Retired and Senior Volunteer Picnic In the Park

September 3, all RSVP volunteers are invited to join the United Way in Wenonah Park for a picnic and concert. This a great chance for volunteers to sit back relax and socialize while enjoying a concert by Phil Dirt and the Dozers.  To register for this picnic call 893.6060 ext. 18

Kick off campaign with Day of Caring Volunteer Event:

VOLUNTEERS NEEDED. Live United is the theme for this year's United Way annual fall campaign and to kick off our campaign we are asking volunteers to show us how they live united by volunteering their time on September 13.  The projects on this day range from painting playground equipment, gardening, weatherizing playground equipment to building ramps for the disabled.  To register for the Day of Caring volunteer event contact Cindy or Cathy at 893.6060 or click here to print off a registration form.
