Endowment

As you review your long-range financial plans, please consider a gift to charity. Wills, life insurance policies, real estate, gifts of stock or cash can ensure that your legacy of kindness to others will go on through the work of United Way. Since 1929, Bay County residents have trusted United Way to provide resources that focus on the most critical needs in our community. United Way of Bay County is a leader in identifying areas in the community that need support and in providing resources to programs that have a direct community impact. The resources come in the form of raising funds, providing volunteers, and acting as a major source for information and referral.  Your gift to the Endowment Fund will ensure that United Way will be able to continue its mission of caring. Income earned in the fund will enable United Way to respond to major community issues. Past contributors include Richard Lahey, the Gerstacker Foundation and Ester Sempliner.  A Planned Giving or Estate Plan enables you to transfer or utilize your resources of cash, property, securities or goods in ways that benefit you as well as your beneficiaries.  This plan may provide immediate tax reductions and it may have many long-term benefits. A sound plan should be created by your attorney, accountant, financial adviser or planned- giving consultant.  United Way of Bay County encourages you to consider a gift to our Endowment Fund.  Your tax adviser can provide you with more information and implement a plan that will be tailored to your needs both now and in the future.
