Community Garden

Do you have more carrots than you can eat this year? How about lettuce? No matter what it is, you can bring your fresh vegetables and fruits to the United Way of Bay County RSVP Program’s Community Garden and get results instead of getting waste!

The United Way’s Community Garden is located on DeQuoy Dr. behind the Bay County Public School Academy on State St., and you can drop off Mondays, Wednesdays, or Fridays before 11 am at the Garden Shed. United Way has partnered with Hidden Harvest who will then pick up the produce and distribute it to various soup kitchens and homeless shelters to help feed the people in your community who are in need.

It’s just one more way that YOU can LIVE UNITED!

The United Way Community Garden raised nearly 5,000 pounds of fruits and vegetables that were distributed throughout the community by way of local shelters, food pantries, and hunger relief organizations.
