United Way is Here for You

The United Way of Bay County provides over 4,000 people a year with confidential information and referral through the AFL-CIO Community Service program.

Any person seeking assistance may call 989.893.7508 ext 12, and will receive consultation and guidance and an effective referral to an appropriate agency that can best assist with the specific problem. Through our partnerships with local agencies, your United Way knows which programs have available funding and are able to help. This ensures you are referred to the right agency that can help right now!

The United Way uses a certified database of thousands of health and human service programs available to Bay County residents. The database uses the same high quality qualifications as a regional 211 Call Center, information and referral system.

Help Available in Pinconning
United Way of Bay County, a confidential free information and referral assistance service is available to residents of Northern Bay County at the Pinconning Branch Library in Pinconning.

The Confidential and free I&R service is available to anyone in the community who needs information, assistance or referral to a Bay County service provider.

Hours are from 1:00 pm until 4:00 pm every Thursday.

Anyone needing help can walk in and receive a confidential and free intake interview, consultation on needs, a referral to an appropriate program and follow up. We have access to a local, state and national network of resources.

If you, a family member or friend need assistance and don't know where to go please visit us at the Pinconning Branch Library. Steve Rajewski, Community Service Director at United Way of Bay County will be available to meet with you and provide you with the information you need to help you resolve your problem. Again, all Information and Referral Services are provided at NO COST and are strictly CONFIDENTIAL.
