Community Services: Helping Your Friends and Loved Ones

ORGANIZED LABOR AND UNITED WAY

At the National level Organized labor and the United Way have worked together to improve the quality of life in local communities for more than 60 years.

Locally that partnership recently celebrated its 51st year and we continue to work together to increase the effectiveness of services and programs that assist people in need.

From the participation of members of organized labor volunteering in our community to their participation in our annual campaign through workplace giving, they are helping to shape the way our community responds to its needs.

In Bay County eight labor representatives serve on the United Way Board of Directors, helping our United Way to move forward with its mission and vision for our community.

Please read on to find out more about the AFL-CIO Community Services and United Way Partnership programs and how you can become a part of the solution to community problems.

United Way and Labor partner together to provide many services.  Please visit our pages below to learn more.
